IBWU Foundation and Elelyon Evangelistic Ministries World Outreach, have jointly established a Vocational training Centre at ELIM Christian Crisis Centre, KM 3, Ilorin-Kaduna Road, Owolabi Village, Jebba ,Kwara State, Nigeria
Between July 3, 2023 and August 4, 2023, both organizations completed their first vocational outreach training orphans and members of the community in partnership with the Friends of Funmi Dosunmu Abiola Foundation (“FOFDA”), vocational skills, including, Tye and Dye, Hairdressing, bag making Fashion Design and tailoring.
The Elim Vocational Centre established has the vocational tools and the experts to continue with daily and community outreaches and completion of training certifications for the people of Jebba in Kwara State, Nigeria and its environs.
Also as part of their vision to use of sports as an instrument of social change and poverty alleviation, IBWU Foundation and Elelyon Evangelistic Ministries World Outreach, have committed to upgrade the existing playground at the ELIM Centre into a sports centre to cater for football, Basketball & Volleyball, and which would include periodic and competitive sporting programs among schools in the Jebba and its environs.
IBWU Foundation and Elelyon Evangelistic Ministries World Outreach, would be working with stakeholders in the area to ensure that the people of Jebba and its environs, are impacted by these programs and that the youths are able to see their dreams come true.
